GREEN MED FORUM
The major event for players in the Euro-Mediterranean fresh-produce supply chain, organized by Green Med Journal since 2008.

The Green Med International Forum is the special meeting place to discuss, together with economists and representatives of institutions, the challenges of the Euro-Mediterranean integration process, establish new contacts and partnerships, do business.
It is itinerant, changing location every year with the aim of travelling all the Mediterranean region and offering to businessmen from different Countries the opportunity to know each other and discuss about business cooperation. The first edition was held in Slovenia (Koper), the second one in Egypt (Alexandria). The 3rd edition in May 2010 will be organized in Rome (Italy).
The Green Med Forum is a three-day event, starting with a Gala Dinner with presentation of the Green Med Awards (Day 1). On Day 2 the Conference takes place, made lively through the discussion panels, while in the morning of Day 3 Business to Business (B2B) meetings are organized and guided visits.
The conference is usually organized in break-out sessions: logistics of fresh produce has been since the first edition a major topic of discussion, today along with confrontation about wholesale markets and distribution and promotion of typical and quality products.
Participants include producers and exporters, traders and distributors as well as crucial service providers like logistics operators, certification bodies, technology and packaging manufactures. The discussion panels and the B2B meetings in particular provide effectiveness to the event.
