THE MAGAZINE

is the fresh produce trade magazine focusing on the Euromed area, the main tool to stay informed about the fruit and vegetable market, addressing importers and buyers, in Europe and beyond, as well as Mediterranean producers and exporters and European service providers involved in the supply chain.
Every aspect connected with the fresh produce supply chain are tackled in every issue (campaigns, market trends, distribution, technologies, logistic and transports, regulations, international cooperation).
Quarterly in 2010, the magazine is in ENGLISH with summaries in French, Spanish and Italian.
MISSION
GMJ mission is to promote the typical fresh fruit and vegetable productions of the Mediterranean, not only in Europe but also in America and Asia. It also aims to create a network among fresh produce’ players: aggregation processes will lead to further economic growth, keeping in mind the idea that agriculture is a great economic resource for the area’s development. Besides the magazine, the project includes the website www.greenmed.eu, with daily updated news, the Green Med Journal Weekly Newsletter, the Green Med International Forum and the new Green Med Atlas.
DISTRIBUTION
The magazine is currently distributed with 15,000 copies in 50 Countries worldwide sent by post to industry players, buyers and subscribers. It is also widely distributed during international events.
Category distribution. Producers-exporters 32%; wholesalers 23%; distributors (buyers-importers) 19%; technology and service providers (logistics) 16%; institutions, universities, international agencies, ministries, embassies 6%; others 4%.
Macroareas diffusion. Mediterranean Europe 50.7%, Continental Europe 23.1%, North Africa 13.0%, Middle East 7.6%, Asia 2.8%, America 2.8%. Italy, Spain, Germany Greece, France, Holland, Turkey, UK, Egypt and Cyprus are the 10 main Countries where Green Med Journal circulates.
CONTENTS
Five sections, with the alternation of easy-to-read news and in-depths documents:
- Products&Countries (products analysis under the technical/commercial point of view, Country-overview of specific cultivations and/or of cultivation systems, interviews, comments);
- Business&Businessmen (easy section devoted to news about business firms or protagonists, agreements, joint-ventures, category-meetings, etc.);
- Networks&Technologies (section focusing on services, logistic, transports, technologies);
- Focus (reporting of a specific topic with wide documentation, comment or interview);
