Starting from 2009, WFM’s traditional sections World Sweets, World Seafood, World Fruit, World Meat has become independent exhibitions. In particular, fresh fruits, vegetables, mushrooms, berries and preserves were displayed at  Fruits, which gathered more than 300 companies.
International tasting contest «Product of the Year» is a traditional and one of the key events within World Food Moscow held by the Central Tasting Commission of the Ministry of Agriculture of the RF. The exhibition also features a special zone of innovative products and technologies «Innovation Showcase». Visitors of the exhibition will have an excellent opportunity to get acquainted with the latest development of Russian and international producers.
World Food Moscow 2009 brought together 1,100 companies from 55 countries.
