The event occupies more than 90,000 square metres of indoor space at the Messe Berlin exhibition grounds (Halls 1 to 25, plus Halls 1.1, 2.1, 3.1 and 4.1).

Main exhibitors in 2010 are the European countries: Italy, Spain, Germany, France and the Netherlands.

The trend toward concentrating geographical regions and industry sectors in specific areas continued in 2010. Latin American exhibitors were in Hall 25. Greece, Egypt, Morocco and many other Mediterranean countries exhibited for the first time in Halls 1.1 and 2.1. Fruit and vegetable processing machinery were presented in Halls 3.1 and 4.1.

The 29th Fresh Produce Forum, taking place one the day before the opening of Fruit Logistica, focused on the issue: “Top image but low returns. Does fresh produce need a relaunch?”

Sharing the same dates with Fruit Logistica and covering 3,000 square metres of exhibition space in Hall 1.1, the Freshconex 2010 exhibition present an overview of the latest trends in the fresh produce convenience market.

Outstanding achievements in all segments of the fresh produce trade will be honoured with the industry awards "Grüner  Merkur" (2 Feb.) and the Fruit Logostica Innovation Award 2011  "FLIA".
