The participation at Fruit Logistica 2012 is organized together with the Port Authority and the Chamber of Commerce of Livorno. The joint special stand will feature the motto “Livorno Reefer Logistics Platform: The key link on the international cold chain."

LRT has a refrigerated warehouse of 11,000 square meters, just 40 meters away from the dock. It has a capacity of 9,000 pallets and a capacity of handling more than 400,000 tons. It is also equipped with special doors for the rapid emptying of containers and 70 plugs to charge reefer containers of frozen produce too.
“Thanks to these characteristics and a strategic geographical location in the Mediterranean - said the President of LRT, Enzo Raugei - our global partner, the multinational Del Monte, has already launched a major traffic with LRT in 2012 for pineapples, bananas and melons. Other interesting patnerships are being negotiated”, he reveals.

The Livorno Reefer Terminal will be located in Hall 26 C-02.
