The European Commission has appreciated the cooperation between public and private sector, considered a “good practice”, intended for the realization of this new container terminal.

The allocation of €770,000 is half the sum needed for the preparatory work for the tender.

“The fact that the project has been selected in Europe with only five other infrastructure projects in the network Ten-t, among those to be implemented in public-private partnership, is for the port of Venice another exam passed and a proof of the value of the current activities”, said the president of the Port Authority, Paolo Costa.
