SIAMAP 2009, the biannual International Show of Agriculture, Agricultural Mechanization and Fishing is taking place at the "Parc des Expositions’’ in Le Kram, Tunis, on 18-22 November. The first two days will be devoted to professionals, while from November 20 to 22 the exhibition will be open to the public as well. Some 400 exhibitors are expected. 

The exhibition's sectors include an area devoted to Equipments & Agricultural Products (machineries, seeds & plants, floriculture, hunting, phyto-sanitary products, packaging, food processing, forestry, logistics, etc.) and one devoted to Equipments & Fishing Products. SIAMAP aims at being a good opportunity for the professionals and farmers to sit together and share their mutual experiences. It proposes diversified and daily animations such as products’ tasting, agricultural shows and a lot of enriching activities.

The event is organized by UTAP, the Tunisian Union for Agriculture and Fishery, and is now at the 10th edition. Further information is available on the event's website.
