ISSUE 1/2010 OF GREEN MED JOURNAL NOW RELEASED
The first issue of the year 2010 of Green Med Journal is now ready for all our readers, in time to be distributed at Berlin's Fruit Logistica. An overview of the articles included is available in this website (right menu).

We start with an interesting analysis of a big import Country like Germany, diveded between large retail chains and Turkish corner shops. Then we feature a wide presentation of the important European fruit and vegetable producing region Andalusia, in the South of Spain.

The "Business&Businessmen" section includes the presentations of two important wholesale markets in the region: the CAR of Rome and  St. Charles International of Perpignan.

We also publish four reports from the latest Mediterranean fairs: Fruit Attraction of Madrid, Food-Fresh Gate in Sharm el Sheikh, Sifel in Agadir, Siamap in Tunis.

Finally in this section we feature an original presentation of Italy's main players.

For the "Networks&Technology" section we publish the contribution of a Lebanese experts about the Motorways of the Sea, as well as the report of the FAO study Tour of some Italian wholesale markets.

In the section "Beyond the market",  an article taking stock of the environmental situation in the Med region after the Copenhagen Sumit, besides a report from the Marrakech Cinema Festival.

The issues closes with a wide and interesting paper about cassava, a major and growing food commodity in developing countries.
