F.L.3 / PORTS: MOA BETWEEN SAVONA AND TARRAGONA
During Fruit Logistica the Italian and the Spanish ports signed a Memorandum of Understanding aimed at fostering cooperation and relations thanks to the presence in both ports of terminal operator GF Port Term.
08/02/2010 17:25The agreement was signed by the chairman of the Port Authority of Savona, Cristoforo Canavese (right in the photo), and by the chairman of the Port Authority of Tarragona, Josep Anton Burgas.
A point of strength of the accord is the presence of GF Port Term, holding GF Group, operaring in Savona with Reefer Terminal and in Tarragona with the Fruport terminal, both dedicated to fruit&vegetable, perishables and containers’ handling).
The agreement will also set goals for creating new international synergies and a table of confrontation between Italy and Spain.
