After July, three departures per week will be scheduled thanks to the arrival of a third vessel, Econostrum.info reports. UND has chosen to call at another port on the Turkish coast, in Tekirdag, on the the Marmara Sea.

Equipped with a capacity of 3,600 linear meters (for 249 total trucks), the service will be operated by the Worms Maritime Services’ agency in Toulon. UND foresees for the first year a traffic around 20-21,000 trailers.

The logistic service has been arranged on the model of another Ro Ro route linking Turkey with the Italian port of Trieste. The drivers will leave their trailers to dock at the port of embarkation and will fly to Marseille-Provence to retrieve them.

"This line is for French, Spanish, English, German freight forwarders - as well as Northern African one", said Tan Actun, director of Worms Services Maritimes.
