FRENCH APRICOTS GROWINGLY RECOGNIZED ABROAD
With 28% of production destined for exports, France is the second largest European exporter just behind Spain. Over the years research has increasingly been used to develop late varieties.

This has allowed to increasingly meet consumers’ demand around the world throughout the summer.

100% of production is concentrated in the south-east of France, where the following varieties can be found: Bergeron, dark and firm pulp and red skin; Goldrich, very big and firm; Orangered, copper color with hints of red and a light pleasant musky flavor; Orangé de Provence, with firm pulp and excellent taste; Lambertini No.1, characterized by a yellow-orange heart, the Rouge du Roussillon, with a very aromatic flavor and a bright orange pulp dotted with red; the Early Blush, with the is collected from the end of May.
