EU TO INVEST 92M EUROS IN MED PROJECTS
The recently approved EU Regional Action Programme for the Mediterranean area provides for an investment plan in infrastructures and sustainable projects in the EuroMed region.
07/09/2010 09:45During the summer the European Commission approved the Regional Action Programme 2010 for the Mediterranean area.
With 91.9 million euros, it supports projects to finance the EuroMed road, rail and urban transport, which aims to facilitate cooperation between twelve Mediterranean states to improve the functioning and efficiency of transport in the area.
Moreover, it helps fund programs, including some for the sustainable management of water and pollution in the Mediterranean region.
